If you read my recent post about apple cider vinegar you will know that there are tons of awesome benefits of using it. I have known about the health benefits of ACV for most of my life. My grandma used to give it to me every time I got sick when I was a child, so I would recover faster. And it did help, I know that for sure. The reason why ACV helped with my childhood illnesses is because it helped bring my body back to the proper pH level. Having a proper pH level, also called alkalinizing your body, will bring you back to great optimal health in no time. Below are raw organic apple cider vinegar recipes, for beauty, health ailments, and optimal health. Enjoy! Have fun alkalizing!
SUPER HEALTH ALKALIZING TONIC: 2 tablespoons of raw organic apple cider vinegar mixed with 8oz fresh organic juice. Can be orange juice, apple juice or grape juice. I personally have not tried any other juices besides these ones, but I’m sure it tastes good mixed with most juices. You can mix it into your green smoothies as well. Drink this tonic every day, twice a day if possible. If you want to drink this for WEIGHT LOSS drink the mixture 3 times a day, before meals. This will alkalinize your body and make you burn fat faster, especially if you are exercising and active. It also promotes healthy digestion, so you will absorb the nutrients you need from food, therefore not crave junk food.
For muscle recovery after exercising: Mix 2 teaspoons of ACV in whatever drink you drink after a workout. This can be a protein shake, green smoothie, or just water. The alkaline properties of the ACV will help neutralize the lactic acids that your muscles make when you exercise, therefore letting the muscles heal faster and eases the soreness.
For smooth healthy hair: 1/3 cup ACV mixed with a quart of water. Put this in a plastic bottle and keep in the shower. After you wash your hair, use the ACV mixture just like you would a conditioner. I LOVE LOVE LOVE doing this! Makes my hair silky smooth, and no split ends. This also prevents dandruff.
For skin toner: 1 tablespoon ACV mixed with 1 cup water. Use a cotton balls and apply all over face. Do this AFTER you have already washed your face like you normally would.
For acid reflux: 2 tablespoons ACV in a glass of water, 2 times per day.
For hypertension: Drink 2 tablespoons of raw organic apple cider vinegar mixed in water to dilute it for taste, 3 times a day. After a few weeks, drink the mixture only 2 times a day.
For cold, flu, bronchitis, sore throat: Drink 2 tablespoons, diluted however you want (in juice or water, or tea) 3 times per day until your symptoms are gone. You can also add lemon juice to the water, to taste.
Seasonal allergies: 2 tablespoons ACV in a glass of water, 2-3 times per day until symptoms are gone.
Diarrhea: Drink 1 teaspoon of ACV mixed in water, 6 times per day, until symptoms are gone.
Eczema: Drink 1 tablespoon ACV mixed in water or juice, 3 times per day.
For topical use of ACV on eczema: 1 tablespoon per 1 cup of water, apply to effected area, as needed.
Arthritis/Joint pain: Drink 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar mixed in juice or water 3 times daily. Soak your hand or foot in 1 cup apple cider vinegar and 2 hot cups water. (Be careful to not burn yourself). If you pain is on your knees, damp a cloth in the mixture just mentioned and hold that on your knee or other joints that are in pain.
Headaches and migraines: Drink 2 tablespoons of ACV mixed in 8oz of water, as many times as needed.
Equal parts of cider vinegar and water should be placed in a small pot on the stove, allowing it to boil slowly, on medium heat. When the fumes begin to rise from the pot lean your head over it until the fumes are comfortably strong, do not burn yourself. Inhale for approximately 50 to 80 breathes. Generally this alleviates the headache considerably, if not entirely.
Kidney and Bladder issues: 2 teaspoons of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water 6 times per day, before and after meals.
Menstrual cramping and excess bleeding: 2 tablespoons ACV mixed with a glass of water or juice 3 times a day.
Stuffy nose/to clear sinuses: Equal parts of cider vinegar and water should be placed in a small pot on the stove, allowing it to boil slowly, on medium heat. When the fumes begin to rise from the pot lean your head over it until the fumes are comfortably strong, do not burn yourself. Inhale for approximately 50 to 80 breaths. You can also use a q-tip to swap some diluted ACV in your nose.
Shingles: Undiluted topically to effected area, as needed. 2 tablespoons ACV mixed in water or juice, 3-5 times per day.
Varicose veins: Apply undiluted ACV to effected area and massage it into the skin, 2 times a day.
